Basic Requirement
- 2 passport-size photographs (undamaged and not older than 6 months)Do not staple or damage the photos; background must be light and plain
National passport or official travel document valid for more than 3 months beyond thevalidity of the requested visa, with at least two blank visa pages(pages do not need to be consecutive)
- Copy of the passport including the signature page
- UK Residence Permit
The Residence Permit must be valid for more than 3 months the day you exit the Schengenarea

passport and permit photocopy (if the host is not Swiss), driver’s driving
license and vehicle insurance

- Travel insurance for the entire period of intended stay, valid for all Schengen States coveringmedical reasons and repatriation costs during (my) stay. The minimum coverage must beEUR 30.000
If covered by your bank please provide a recent letter stating your insurance details
- Copy of the travel insurance and the policy
- Original letter of employment from the employer in the UK confirming the purpose andduration of the trip to Switzerland and the date of returning to work
If self-employed, please provide a letter from your accountant
*Note that the documents named above must not be older than one month
- Signed invitation letter from the Swiss-based company on company letterhead paper
