Canada Business Visa for UK residents

• Canadian visa application form. A completed visa application form for Canada.
• Original, signed passport.Passport must have at least 6 months remaining validity on the date of travel and have at least 1 visa page clear of any markings.
• Proof of Status. Original ILR card or other proof of resident status in the UK, this should be valid for more than 6 months after your return from Canada.
• Itinerary. Copy of round trip tickets or confirmed itinerary if purchased, however, it is best not to purchase tickets in advance.
• Bank Statement. Copy of last 3 months bank statement showing proof of sufficient funds. The documents shouldn’t be older than 1 month.
• Business letter. An original signed letter from the UK company. The business letter must adhere to the below mentioned guidelines:
  • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
  • State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Canada.
  • Specify the Type and desired Validity of the visa (i.e. single entry business visa).
  • Guarantee of sufficient funds to travel.
• Hotel Reservations. Copy of confirmed hotel reservations including name of the applicant, name and address of the hotel, duration of stay.
• Business invitation. A business invitation letter from the sponsoring company in Canada. The letter must be printed on company letterhead stationery, addressed to “The Embassy of Canada”, and signed by a senior manager (an equivalent to Vice-President or above). The business letter must adhere to the following guidelines:
  • Briefly introduce the applicant (please specify employment status/position held in the company by applicant).
  • State the nature of the business to be conducted (i.e. business meetings, contract negotiations, etc.) and the names and addresses of companies to be contacted in Canada.
  • Specify the type and desired validity of the visa (i.e. a one-year multiple entry business visa).
• Use of Representative form. A completed Use of a Representative form.
• In case of sponsored trip. Sponsorship letter duly dated and signed, supported by the following sponsor documents: passport (copy), employment letter, last 3-month original bank statements. The documents shouldn’t be older than 1 month.
